This book commemorates the loss of life of 23 Chinese cocklers in Morecambe Bay in 2004 on Chinese New Year’s Eve. It uses English and Chinese calligraphy written over papers layered to mirror the sandbanks, or cut into cockle shapes. The driftwood for the cover was found locally. NFS
